Why You’re Overwhelmed
I used to jam-pack my schedule.
I thought if I could just fit ONE MORE THING IN, I would finally achieve all my goals.
But the truth is, goal-getting isn’t about squeezing in more.
It’s about eliminating the non-essentials and laser-focusing in on what actually creates results.
There’s just three things I'm doing to pursue my million dollar goal:
Coach my clients
Create valuable content
Offer to help more people
It’s extremely simple.
But there’s also a thousand ways to overcomplicate it.
And for the longest time, I did.
I had loads of different offers (masterminds, group coaching, private coaching, VIP offers, courses).
At one point I was creating content almost daily on every platform (IG, FB, LI, TT, YT, Email).
I tried every possible marketing technique on the planet (networking events, flyers, emails, funnels, merch, guest speaking, ads, podcasting, video sales letters, even door-knocking. You name it, I tried it).
Suddenly 3 things became 30.
I was constantly overwhelmed, saying “there’s so much to do.”
When in actual fact, there isn’t.
There’s so little to do.
Really, I want you to let that sink in deep.
There is SO little to do.
But it will require much of YOU.
You must get ruthless about how you’re spending your time.
You must get honest about what you can actually handle in a day, week or year.
You must be willing to feel uncomfortable emotions, in exchange for big results.
You’re overwhelmed because you’re doing too much.
The good news is, you don’t need to be doing it all.
In fact if you try to do it all, you’ll drift even further away from where you want to be.
So today, grab a piece of paper.
Make a list of what actions will actually move you towards your goals or add value to your life.
Cut out the rest.
In my latest podcast episode, I share the specific shift I made in the last few weeks that changed how I am scheduling my life completely.
