Updated 4th Sept 2025
I just performed in a Salsa and Reggaeton show this weekend and it was the highlight of my year so far! I’m about to run a really amazing challenge called Achieve Any Goal in 3 Days, which I can’t wait for.
Goals I’m working on right now:
7 figure business
5000 subscribers on YouTube

Hey! I’m Sarah.
I set goals to feel alive.
Sweaty palms.
Racing heart.
Can’t think of anything else.Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.
l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.
People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).
While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

Planning My Day With Rocks & Sand
I’ve been working with my coach on being more productive during my day, and I’ve implemented this new way to prioritize my to-do list:
Rocks = big tasks that need to be prioritized
Sand = small tasks that can be done when there are a few minutes of downtime between doing the rocks
So each day, I’ve been setting my to-do list up with rocks and sand. That way, I know I need to hit as much on the rocks list as I can BEFORE I fluff around doing the sand.
Have you tried this technique before? Let me know in the comments!
Being Future Me
This week, I've been sitting in the fear of whether or not to book a photoshoot.
I've been wanting one for my brand for ages, but the last one I did was a. freaking. disaster.
When I got the photos back I cried.
They were so different from the beautiful photos on the photographer's Instagram that I actually googled him to see if he was a scam, just uploading other people's images, pretending they were his.
Turns out he was legit, he just didn't put in much effort into my shoot
I was super gutted.
It put me off wanting to invest in myself again.
But I wish I had. I wish I’d gotten straight back up on the horse.
I should have booked a new shoot immediately.
I was taking action from my current self. The one who was scared it would turn out badly again. So I didn’t.
But the only way to get from A to B is to BE the person at B right now.
This is what I'm working on every single day with my mindset: taking action from what my future, more successful self would do.
So today I bit the bullet I and paid for the shoot. Even though I’m scared. Because future me would do it.
And I want to be her SO bad.
Start making decisions from your future self, and one day you’ll wake up and realize you have everything you ever wanted.
How to Get From Here to There with Your Dream
Your dream is all the way over there and you're all the way over here... so how do you close the gap?
I’m sharing all my thoughts on what has worked for me and what I’ve observed the world’s most successful people doing. Let me know what you think & subscribe!
And Both
What if it wasn’t either/or?
What if it was and/both?
What if you could have financial security AND take a leap with your dream?
What if you could have a boyfriend AND go out with the girls on the weekend?
What if you could have your career AND stay at home with the kids?
It’s and/both. It always is. We just have to open ourselves up to possiblity.
A Snippet From My Journal
Today I thought I would share something from my journal with you, since I’ve been journaling a TON recently and there is so much good content in there. Usually people keep their journals private, but can you imagine if we could read the journals of people we are inspired by, like Oprah, Michael Jordan or Steve Jobs?
I bet there are people out there who would do ANYTHING to read their actual thoughts.
Here’s a collection of my thoughts from the past few days. I hope they inspire you to journal your own thoughts.
Love Your Reasons
It doesn’t matter which decision you make, as long as you love your reasons for making that decision.
Decision making can be so easy. Which option do you love your reasons for most?
Do that one.
How to Overcome Your Own Excuses
The last few days I’ve been working on an exercise that’s been really helping me overcome my own mind drama and excuses.
Here’s how it works:
Write out what you want at the top of a page.
Write out every single excuse your brain gives you about why you don’t already have it.
Next to every excuse, write a solution to overcome it.
Go and execute those solutions as soon as possible. Before your brain has a chance to come up with more excuses.
Simple. So. damn. effective.
These are the excuses my brain has made for why I’m not where I want to be yet with all my goals:
I don’t have professional enough photography
I haven’t learned keyword research on YouTube
I’m not “successful enough” for people to publish anything about me
My Instagram feed isn’t pretty enough
I’m not a practiced speaker
I don’t have enough followers
Yes, for real, that is the BS my brain comes up with.
It’s so embarrassing to write it down because I can see how UNIMPORTANT it all is to achieving my goals.
And yet, they still bother me.
So here is my solution:
I can either:
a) Do the thing I think I need to do just to get it off my mind
OR
b) Decide to never ever worry about it again for all eternity
Here is what I’ve decided to do:
Just get the photography done (I just posted in an NZ Facebook asking for a photographer)
Buy the YouTube course I’ve been procrastinating buying (just got on the email list for when it next opens)
Decide that I AM successful enough already, and send my content to publishers now (Tuesday I will write something to send!)
Literally never ever worry about my Instagram feed ever again for all eternity because it doesn't matter
Practice speaking and watch presentation videos on YouTube (This Thursday I will begin working on this).
Serve the audience I DO have because they are amazing (Keep showing up every day with value)
I've decided I will never. ever. let excuses stop me.
The Best Blogging Advice You Will Ever Receive
I was inspired by my client Nancy (aka: Miss Worldwide Traveler) to write this post, because she is currently working on this. Nancy, you rock.
I think this is THE best blogging advice you will ever receive:
Don’t start a blog. Continue a blog.
Do you know how many people START blogs? Everyone and their kid sister has started a blog.
And how many of those blogs are just dead, floating around in internet? I’ve got at least four.
Don’t learn how to start a blog.
Don’t learn how to start a YouTube channel.
Don’t learn how to start a podcast.
Learn how to continue a blog, YouTube channel or podcast.
You’re not a blogger if you just have a domain name with three posts and you intend to blog but life gets in the way.
You don’t need to change the fonts.
You don’t need more followers.
You don’t need a new vlogging camera.
You don’t need new podcasting equipment.
You need to write. You need to record. You need to film.
When?
Not once a week.
Not three times a week.
Every single day.
This philosophy is what has got me to where I am today with 325 blogs in 325 days.
Some projects can’t be published every day. Fair.
But you can work on them every single day. Even if it’s for 60 seconds a day.
Make a commitment to showing up and progressing your dream every single day.
Forget about starting. Learn how to continue.

Beliefs That Made Me Money This Month
The beliefs that I have been choosing to think every single day:
I already have everything I need RIGHT NOW to make my money goals happen.
I don't need new clothes or a nicer house.
I don't need more followers.
I don't need a better website.
I don't need to buy anything else.
I don't even need to wait until I've learned anything new.
I'm ready.
Every morning I've been waking up and saying:
TODAY IS THE DAY!
How to Close the Gap Between Where You Are Now And Where You Want to Be
There’s only one way to get to where you want to go – and that’s to act like you’re already there.
If you are constantly TRYING to get somewhere, you won’t get there. Because you’ll always be taking action from a ‘trying’ mindset.
The key is to BE the person you need to be, already, right now.
What does she think?
What does she believe?
How does she act?
What does she say?
Who does she spend time with?
What does she do?
What action does she take?
How does she walk?
How does she talk?
What are her boundaries?
How does she handle negativity?
What is her mindset?
These aren’t just questions, these are journaling affirmations.
These are thoughts I ask myself every single day.
Each day, my main priority is to BE the person that I need to be.
The key is to then ACT on the answers.
