I just performed in a Salsa and Reggaeton show this weekend and it was the highlight of my year so far! I’m about to run a really amazing challenge called Achieve Any Goal in 3 Days, which I can’t wait for.

Goals I’m working on right now:

    7 figure business

    5000 subscribers on YouTube

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

July 2020 Goals: Review

IMG_2507.jpg

This month was crazy. There were so many times throughout it when I didn’t think I was going to hit my goals. But every time I had that thought, I decided to believe that I would instead. I decided to ask myself, "how can I commit to this like I have no choice but to succeed?”

As a result, I hit every single one of my goals. And seriously – there was a point when I didn’t think I was going to hit ANY of them!

  1. Continue to put out a video on YouTube every week – and work on creating a better experience for myself while doing it.
DONE! Initially, I didn’t make this happen. Several weeks had gone by and I hadn’t put out a video. But I refused to get to the end of the month and not have put out 4 videos. So – even though it was last-minute, I compelled myself to put four videos out. Many times I thought “no one cares if I do or don’t get these videos out by the deadline.” But I decided that it matters to me, to my integrity. That I do the things I say I’m going to do.

  2. Hit 600 Subscribers on YouTube.
DONE! I started at 487 at the beginning of the month, and this was by far the goal I got the most creative with. I emailed old friends. I joined YouTube engagement groups on Facebook. I went to the mall and I asked strangers if they were interested in subscribing. I decided I was going to do it, no matter what.

  3. Walk/run 3x a week.
DONE! This one was one of the easiest because I love to go for lovely long walks and listen to podcasts. Easy. Next month to go to the next level with my fitness, I’m going to set pure running goals.

  4. Hit 1500 members in my Impossible Girls Facebook Group.
DONE! This was the most challenging of my goals. On the 27th of July, we were still at 1100. So every morning in the shower, I would hype myself up with a pep talk. Michael Jordan would do it. I can do this. It doesn’t matter how, all that matters is my willingness to do anything to make it happen. And you know what was crazy? Out of that determination came a viral post that gained over 30,000 likes! Over 800 people joined my group. I surpassed 2000 members! The biggest lesson from this is that things can happen last minute – so believe and commit until the last moment.

  5. Get my Photography done.
DONE! I did a photoshoot with the gorgeous @aimeejulesphotography and I can’t wait to share the images with you!

  6. Join YT4B.
DONE! I joined the program! I’m super excited to get into learning all about the YouTube algorithm, SEO and keywords in August.

Look out for my August 2020 Goals to come!

I've Got This

It’s getting towards the end of the month and I am HUSTLING.

Aside from my usual coaching and blogging commitments, here is what is on my list every day for the past week:

  • Grow my YouTube channel by 7 subscribers

  • Plan/film/edit a YouTube video (this one keeps getting put off, hence why it’s on my list every day)

  • Grow my Facebook Group (I committed to reaching 1500 people this month)

  • Find an outfit, find a location, book a photographer, get my photography done

If I’m honest, I feel scared.

But I refuse to give up. I choose to believe I can do this.

Okay. Enough blogging. Time to get back to work.

Anything Can Happen

I share a ton of goals with the world. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I’m not afraid to share what I’m working on.

I also have some private goals. Goals I share with only my closest friends, and sometimes only with myself.

Lately, I didn’t hit one of my private goals. I worked so. damn. hard on it.

I thought of all the possible ways to make it work.

I wrote out an epiphany list.

I created a new plan.

I executed a new plan.

I believed in it right up until the last moment.

But the time was up and I didn’t reach the goal.

I have accepted that it didn’t happen in my desired time frame. But I am still not giving up. Just because the time limit passed, doesn’t mean the goal isn’t still attainable.

Anything can happen.

Start

In the last few days I’ve been struggling with procrastination for making my YouTube videos.

I pretend I don’t know how to fix it. That way I can procrastinate some more.

But I do know how to fix it.

I just need to DO the thing. Set up the camera. Press record. Go.

It’s one of the 5 Sutras of the Aquarian Age:

When the time is on you, start, and the pressure will be off.

So I’m starting, right now.

Expect a video soon.

Quarter-Life Bliss

olia-nayda-9KQVWzSmd3I-unsplash.jpg

In psychology, a quarter-life crisis is defined as anxiety over the direction and quality of one's life.

Yesterday I turned 24, and I couldn’t have felt further from that.

Instead of feeling lost, confused, and directionless, I went to sleep feeling like the happiest, luckiest person in the whole world.

I have a family who loves me. I have food. I have safety. I have health. I have the opportunity to pursue my ambitions. I get to help people with my work. I have meaning. I have a purpose. Even my problems feel like blessings right now.

I’m incredibly grateful to be feeling this way because there have been times in my life when I haven’t felt like this at all.

Thank you for reading this, even if I don’t know you. You contribute to my happiness each day.
