  • Updated 4th Sept 2025

I just performed in a Salsa and Reggaeton show this weekend and it was the highlight of my year so far! I’m about to run a really amazing challenge called Achieve Any Goal in 3 Days, which I can’t wait for.

Goals I’m working on right now:

    7 figure business

    5000 subscribers on YouTube

  • Hey! I’m Sarah.

I set goals to feel alive.

    Sweaty palms.
    Racing heart.

    Can’t think of anything else.

Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.

l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.

People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).

While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

My August 2020 Goals Review

IMG_1137.JPG

August is almost over, and I hit my goals this month again, woohoo! Here’s what happened:

  1. Run 2x a week
Complete! This was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. I really enjoy not putting these on specific days of the week, but allowing myself to choose a day when the weather is lovely and I'm feeling energized. Next month I'm ready to take this to the next level and exercise more!

  2. Put out a YouTube video every week (and start a video release “day”)
Complete! I decided Friday is my release day (and I made a little banner on my YouTube to say "new videos every Friday" to keep me accountable!). I put out four videos this month on Fridays, EVEN though I wasn't 100% satisfied with them. I decided it's more important to stick to my publishing time than to have absolutely perfect videos (not that any of my previous ones felt perfect either!).

  3. Show up every day in my Facebook Group with mega value
Complete! I posted in there every single day. I always tried to ask myself, "how can I add more value?" and then on the posts I added something extra, they always got responses saying they were impactful. I've been doing a lot of thinking about how to make this group the most supportive group on the internet, and I'd love your feedback so let me know what you'd love for this group to have/do!

  4. Learn the YouTube Algorithm
Complete! I studied my YouTube course and now the fun is to apply everything I've learned to my next videos. I also gained 84 subscribers! That might not seem like much, but these last two months it's moving faster than ever before. As of today, I'm on 684 subscribers. #celebration!

  5. Create a way to make my work more environmental/sustainable/contributing to climate action
Complete! My business all online and it's service-only (I don't sell any physical products), so I thought I wasn't producing much waste. However, I realised that when I'm coaching, I write A LOT of notes. Pages and pages. I probably use thousands of pages every year. That's not only tress, but bleach and chemicals to make the paper white. If I make the simple switch to electronic notes and if absolutely necessary, notes on recycled paper, then I will definitely be making my business as eco-friendly as possible. (P.S. if you've got more tips for making an online business even more eco-friendly that I haven't thought about, let me know!)

Double Your Goal

Want to make $10,000 a month? Set your goal at $20,000.

Write a book in a year? Write two.

Lose 10kg in a year? Lose it in 6 months.

What would you have to do to hit that doubled goal?

Would you get up earlier?

Use a different marketing technique?

Be more disciplined?

One of the biggest things I've learned is how easy it is to underestimate how much time, energy, and effort a goal will take.

When you double it, you have to think differently. You have to think bigger. You have to act bigger.

When you're aiming and planning your efforts for double, suddenly your original goal seems like a piece of cake.

Feeling determined?

Double it again.

Because mediocre goals lead to mediocre results.

And it's so much more fun to do something impossible.

You Can Make Money Doing What You Love

1A1A6000.JPG

You can make money doing what you love.

There are people out there right now, this very second, who want your talents, skills, and services.

And they want to pay you money for it.

The ONLY reason you're not making money doing what you love is because you haven't decided that you can.

You think that your thing isn't something people want to pay for.

Listen – if you told me 5 years ago that I would make a full-time income helping strangers on the internet achieve their impossible goals and dreams, I wouldn't have believed you.

Surely that's not a real job?

But now it is.

Because I decided.

You can make money doing what you love too. A lot of it.

You just have to DECIDE that you can.

How Virgin Atlantic Began

This is how Richard Branson started Virgin Atlantic.

  1. Go to the airport

  2. Wait for a flight to be canceled

  3. Lease a plane and crew

  4. Divide the cost of the plane by the number of seats

  5. Offer seats to stranded passengers

  6. Fly them to their destination

6 things.

Branson didn't say "But I've never started an airline before." and convince himself he didn't know what to do.

He had a goal.

He made a simple plan.

He got his A into G.

And started an airline in an afternoon.

ZERO mind drama.

Your dream is so much simpler than you think.

Choose a goal.

Make a simple plan.

Get your A into G.

You've got this.

P.S. It doesn't matter whether you're starting an airline or growing your Instagram, the process is always the same. It all comes down to one thing: learning how to create results. This is what I do with my clients. I teach them how to become result-creating machines. When you're ready to get your A into G and create some serious results, book a consult with me.

The Most Important Skill You Can Learn

EB77F2B8-328C-4A34-AFDD-2C84E9EF10D5.JPG

The most important skill you can ever learn is how to create results.

Once you know how to create results, you can set any goal in the world and KNOW you're going to hit it.

You control your results with your thoughts.

Because what you're thinking determines the kind of action you're willing to take.

And the action you take determines the kind of results you get.

Last month I really didn't feel like I was going to hit my goal of 1500 members in my Facebook group. I had no idea how.

But I decided I would hit the goal anyway – regardless of how I felt about it.

And then we got 900 members in a DAY.

Nervous? Afraid? Worried? Stressed? Okay. Execute anyway.

You get to decide to make it happen.

If it was life or death, you know you could make anything happen.

Why wait until it's life or death to perform at your potential?

The result you want is available to you right now.

August Goals Update

Screen Shot 2020-08-12 at 10.31.52 AM.png

One of the challenges I've been facing with my goals is that I set a bunch at the beginning of the month and then I focus super hard on one or two, and kind of leave the others on the back burner until it's almost too late (recently I had to read 3 books in ONE DAY because of this issue, haha!).

So to keep myself focused and accountable, here is an update on the progress of my goals this month so far.

🔥 Put out a YouTube video every week (and start a video release “day”)

I've put out one and I'm filming today so my next video will be ready to go out this Friday. I set Friday as my official day videos will go out now (see the proof on my YouTube banner!), so I'm accountable to the world to always get them out by Friday.

Helpful thought: I am the kind of person who always does what she says she will do.

🔥 Run 2x a week

I've been doing this. 3x last week, 1x this week already. I'm actually super impressed that this hasn't required much mental effort (I think because I'm loving listening to Podcasts at the moment and it's always an opportunity to listen to a podcast!).

Helpful thought: Running is becoming one of my favourite activities. Michael Jordan would do it.

🔥 Show up every day in my Facebook Group with value

I'm doing this, but my goal is to make this group THE best place on the internet. Let me know – if you’re in the group, let me know: how can I serve you more? What would you LOVE in this group?

Helpful thought: This group filled with supportive women helping each other crush our goals!

🔥 Learn the YouTube Algorithm

I've begun my YouTube course and I'm keen to dive in deeper about SEO and keywords and all of that jazz!

Helpful thought: Every day I get better and better at YouTube.

🔥 Create a way to make my work more environmental/sustainable/contributing to climate action

This one I've been thinking about a lot, and I've got some really fun ideas, but I haven't discovered something that I am ready to take action on yet. I will continue to work on this.

Helpful thought: There is always a way to make an impact, I just have to find it.

How have your August goals been going? Leave me a comment, I’d love to hear!

2200 Members

Okay. This is kind of crazy, but we’re at 2200 members in my Impossible Girls Facebook Group. Whaaaat?!

I’m so excited about how quickly this group has grown. I started it on April 1st, 2020.

So in four months, we’re at 2200 members.

Even though I am kind of surprised, this was not an accident.

This was very deliberate.

It was a hustle.

It was a grind.

For the first 12 days, I didn’t have anyone join at all.

Zero people.

I was too afraid to invite people because I thought I wasn’t “ready”.

And in June, when I didn’t invite anyone the whole month because I was focused on other things, we might have got about 10 new members.

This is a massive learning lesson for me:

Facebook groups don’t grow themselves.

Goals don’t hit themselves.

You get to make your goals happen.

Friendship Goals

IMG_9867.JPG

Behind everything I do, I have the most incredible support team.

My family, my partner, my friends, my coaches.

But there is one person who makes the biggest difference in my life.

My best friend, Georgia.

She was the one who forced me to press publish on my first ever blog post in 2017.

She is the one who risks her safety to get bizarre shots of me for Instagram.

She is the one who helped me write a viral post of 31k likes this week.

And she is the one who I can share anything with, and never feel judged.

You know when people say “I wouldn’t be where I am right now without you”?

That’s an understatement for how I feel about Georgia.

I can’t thank her enough.

#friendshipgoals

July 2020 Goals: Review

IMG_2507.jpg

This month was crazy. There were so many times throughout it when I didn’t think I was going to hit my goals. But every time I had that thought, I decided to believe that I would instead. I decided to ask myself, "how can I commit to this like I have no choice but to succeed?”

As a result, I hit every single one of my goals. And seriously – there was a point when I didn’t think I was going to hit ANY of them!

  1. Continue to put out a video on YouTube every week – and work on creating a better experience for myself while doing it.
DONE! Initially, I didn’t make this happen. Several weeks had gone by and I hadn’t put out a video. But I refused to get to the end of the month and not have put out 4 videos. So – even though it was last-minute, I compelled myself to put four videos out. Many times I thought “no one cares if I do or don’t get these videos out by the deadline.” But I decided that it matters to me, to my integrity. That I do the things I say I’m going to do.

  2. Hit 600 Subscribers on YouTube.
DONE! I started at 487 at the beginning of the month, and this was by far the goal I got the most creative with. I emailed old friends. I joined YouTube engagement groups on Facebook. I went to the mall and I asked strangers if they were interested in subscribing. I decided I was going to do it, no matter what.

  3. Walk/run 3x a week.
DONE! This one was one of the easiest because I love to go for lovely long walks and listen to podcasts. Easy. Next month to go to the next level with my fitness, I’m going to set pure running goals.

  4. Hit 1500 members in my Impossible Girls Facebook Group.
DONE! This was the most challenging of my goals. On the 27th of July, we were still at 1100. So every morning in the shower, I would hype myself up with a pep talk. Michael Jordan would do it. I can do this. It doesn’t matter how, all that matters is my willingness to do anything to make it happen. And you know what was crazy? Out of that determination came a viral post that gained over 30,000 likes! Over 800 people joined my group. I surpassed 2000 members! The biggest lesson from this is that things can happen last minute – so believe and commit until the last moment.

  5. Get my Photography done.
DONE! I did a photoshoot with the gorgeous @aimeejulesphotography and I can’t wait to share the images with you!

  6. Join YT4B.
DONE! I joined the program! I’m super excited to get into learning all about the YouTube algorithm, SEO and keywords in August.

Look out for my August 2020 Goals to come!
