Updated 2nd June 2025
I landed a backflip on a trampoline last month, which has been a dream of mine for a long time. I hesitated working on it because of fear, but in May I did it! I’ve been filming a lot of videos for my YouTube channel, and next week I’ll start releasing them.
Goals I’m working on right now:
7 figure business
Landing a standing backflip
5000 subscribers on YouTube

Hey! I’m Sarah.
I set goals to feel alive.
Sweaty palms.
Racing heart.
Can’t think of anything else.Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.
l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.
People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).
While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.
Ready to do something impossible together?
Want more momentum?

The Most Powerful Belief
The most powerful belief you can hold for your goal is this: It’s working.
When you’re in “IT’S WORKING” energy, your brain will look for all the ways that it's totally true.
Finding evidence for why it's working reinforces to your brain, “Hey, I can actually do this.”
And from there, you'll feel pumped up to take even more action, and you'll find more ways for it to work.
It’s an upward spiral.
It’s working for my client Madison who just celebrated signing 7 clients and hitting $2605 in 6 weeks as a graphic designer.
It’s working for my client Daphne who just signed her second client as a coach for dog parents. (Yes, you read that right.)
It’s working for my client Julia who received another paid freelance writing offer today.
It’s working for my client Danja who signed $1000 of work as a copywriter and her first paid speaking gig today.
It’s working for my client Sharon who just closed 4 collaborations on her Instagram this month.
It's working for my client Rosalind who just got the opportunity to submit her book directly to one of the biggest publishers in the world.
They all know I've been obsessively reminding them:
It’s working.
Why is your goal is TOTALLY working, even if it hasn't happened yet?
My Favourite Books
I reread the same books all the time. Here are my top favourites, in no particular order:
The 9 Secrets of Women Who Get What They Want by Kate White
How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Better than Before by Gretchen Rubin
Essentialism by Greg McKeown
The Third Door by Alex Banayan
Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert
What are your favourites? Let me know in the comments!
Calendar Hacking
Since I was about eight years old, I’ve been the queen of to do lists.
I have shopping lists, work lists, packing lists, general lists, specific lists, and best of all, the master list, the list where I keep a list of EVERYTHING.
Time management is something I’ve been tackling for a few years, and recently I realised that to do lists are actually terrible for time management.
I have no idea how long a task is going to take, when I’m going to finish it, and how many I can *actually* fit into my day.
So instead, I’ve been working on calendar hacking.
A while ago I wrote a post about how I was going to start putting every to do list item into my calendar, and throw away my to do list.
I tried it, but I felt overwhelmed with everything being so tightly scheduled.
So these last two weeks, I’ve tried it again, but this time I’m being ruthless about what actually needs to be done, and what doesn’t.
Now my to do list is gone, my calendar is manageable and I actually feel like there’s room to breathe.
I LOVE it.
Goodbye to do list.
I Still Adore Flying
About 18 months ago, I overcame my fear of flying using the power of identity. Since then, I’ve taken over 20 flights and this week, I took another two.
And I thought I would share today that I still adore it.
Even more than I adore it, I adore that I adore flying – because for more than 10 years I was terrified of it, and taken even a short flight was a miserable experience.
If you haven’t seen my video on how I overcame my fear of flying, you can watch it here.
In the meantime, you can find me celebrating 18 months of fearlessness, by eating a little packet of peanuts and drinking tomato juice from a plastic cup, at 31,000 feet.
Refining Life
With all of my clients, I’ve been working on refining.
Refining schedules.
Refining priorities.
Refining it all down to what really matters.
I am of course, my own client and I’m the one who I do all of my experiments on.
So as I refine further and further, I ask myself the question – what actually adds value?
Does this blog add value? This blog I’ve been writing from 600+ days – is it truly valuable?
I think even if a million people found it valuable, it would still be a question of if I find it valuable to write it.
Today, the answer is yes.
Your Goal is So Much Closer Than You Think
Our goals only take as long as we let them take.
It's our timeframe expectations that hold us back from taking wild, creative, no-one-else-would-do-this action.
Because if you HAD to achieve your goal in 24 hours – if everything was on the line – you'd do it.
You know you would.
You'd find a solution even if that meant doing something incredibly uncomfortable.
What if you truly believed you could sign a client today?
What if you truly believed you could get a book deal today?
What if you truly believed you could make money in your new business today?
How would that change how you show up today?
Love Yourself Even When
It's easy to feel good about a goal you haven't started yet.
Because you haven’t had to take any action or feel any disappointment.
The real challenge is to love yourself the entire way through the middle and out the other side.
Your Belief is Your Destiny
You don’t believe something because it’s true.
You believe something to make it true.
It’s BECAUSE I always believe I’ll hit my goals that I always do.
Not because it was always going to happen. It wasn’t.
When I believe I can hit my goal:
I show up for it every day.
I put in 10x more effort than I ever have before.
I ask myself how to guarantee my results, and then go and do those things.
I stay up late.
I get up early.
I make the nerve-wracking phone calls.
I put in the extra work.
I do things I would never do otherwise.
When I believe I won’t hit my goal:
I find excuses for not showing up.
I watch Netflix for hours on end.
I don’t reach out for help.
I don’t look for solutions.
I take half-hearted action.
I sabotage my results, just to prove it was never going to happen anyway.
Sometimes my brain sometimes offers me unhelpful thoughts about why I won’t hit my goal:
What if you can’t do this?
You’re out of your depth this time.
This goal really IS impossible.
It’s normal to hear those thoughts. But I never decide they’re true.
I always choose to believe I will hit my goal.
Because why would I ever choose a thought that makes my goal feel further away?
Whatever you believe IS the truth.
Your beliefs control your actions, and your actions control your results.
If you believe you can’t do it, you’ll take action like you can’t do it.
The decision to believe that you will achieve your goal will always serve you.
Every single day, re-decide that you’re going to succeed.
Act as if your success is certain.
It will be.
