Updated 2nd June 2025
I landed a backflip on a trampoline last month, which has been a dream of mine for a long time. I hesitated working on it because of fear, but in May I did it! I’ve been filming a lot of videos for my YouTube channel, and next week I’ll start releasing them.
Goals I’m working on right now:
7 figure business
Landing a standing backflip
5000 subscribers on YouTube

Hey! I’m Sarah.
I set goals to feel alive.
Sweaty palms.
Racing heart.
Can’t think of anything else.Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.
l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.
People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).
While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

I'm Officially Recertified
Woohoo! I've just completed my 4-day re-certification online.
I’m super pumped! This photo is from my first certification in November 2018, because it was the in-person event (during Coronavirus we did it online of course, so I didn’t get a real-life photo).
What is High Performance Coaching?
Coaching is a process that leads to performance improvement and goal achievement. It’s about creating heightened levels of success across all areas of your life.
I’m taking on new clients at the moment, so if you’re interested in working with a High Performance Coach to take your life to the next level, fill out this application and we can have a discussion to see if it’s right for you:
How To Crush Instagram in 2020
It's not 2012 anymore.
Stuff that worked then doesn't work now.
I just hit 18.5k on Instagram, and I've had a million questions so I decided to do a free training on how to Crush Instagram in 2020.
➡️Step by step how to pitch to brands as a micro-influencer
➡️My best tip for hashtags (it's reeeeally not what you think)
➡️How to work WITH the algorithm in 2020 (because if you can't beat em, join em!)

Producing High Quality Thoughts
Your brain is like a fashion house.
Only, instead of producing handbags, it produces thoughts.
You can produce high end, luxurious thoughts (like Chanel), or you can produce low quality, low-end thoughts (like Walmart).
You are the designer.
You have full control over thought production.
You’ve got a vision for the high quality, luxury thoughts you want to produce – because you know they will create a much better life.
However, sometimes when you’re not looking, production quality in the Thought Manufacturing Department slips.
You might not even catch your brain producing low-quality thoughts, because they’re very familiar.
That’s why you’ve got to be on watch, every single day to make sure sneaky low-quality thoughts don’t get past.
I suggest a morning meeting.
Every day when I wake up, I do quality control in the form of affirmations (I’ve got a whole list you can try here).
You can have a luxury brain, full of luxurious thoughts.
All you have to do is remember that you are the designer – you are in control.
High Performance Coaching Re-Certification Week
In 2018 I trained as a Certified High Performance Coach in Arizona, and every second year we have to return to get re-certified/stay up to date.
Since it's online this year, it's at 9am Los Angeles. That's 4am my time in NZ, so for the next week while I re-train, I'm trying to live on Pacific Time (currently feeling very jet lagged despite no jet haha!).
Today reminded me of how freaking epic coaching is. I'm so used to having a coach (I currently have FOUR!) that I sometimes forget that other people aren't used to having a coach.
Here's what I'm working on with my coaches:
Growing my business
Deepening my relationship with my partner
Nailing my morning routine
Getting hardcore about YouTube again (watch this space!)
Healing my shoulder injury (I am also seeing a physiotherapist for this).
It's possible to achieve your goals without a coach.
But if you want to get the results quicker and make them last longer, coaching is THE answer.
It's how I've been able to so quickly build my business, get to 50 push ups, grow my social media, blog every day and become location independent!
If you've got a big goal you want to achieve, I can coach you.
It will rock your world.

Hiring a Designer
I’m super excited to be working with a new brand designer for my logo. One of my May goals was to get this done (after years of procrastinating, so I’m so pumped to have finally chosen a designer). I’ll be working with Brook from Saint Studio on this project, who you can check out here. This is a mood board she put together which I absolutely love. It’s bold yet refined. So excited to see what we co-create.

How to Change Your Beliefs Around Money
I believe that the more money I create, the more I can help others.
But we all have a subconscious limit of how much money we believe is possible for us to create, and therefore we put a limit on how much we can help others. Today I’m walking you through an exercise you can do to break through your glass ceiling/money limit.
Let me know what you think!
Affirmations
As part of my morning routine this month, I’ve been focusing on affirmations a lot (particularly in the shower – a great time to do them!).
I thought I would share some of my favourites with you here:
I am unstoppable!
I am a person of excellence!
I am abundant!
I eat fear for breakfast!
I commit to my goals and dreams like no one else!
I know I will be successful because I will never ever give up!
I show up for my dreams every single day!
Every decision I make is the right one!
The future is fixed in my favour!
I am defying the impossible!
I can create any result I want!
I am willing to work on this until I’m 150 years old!
I am unapologetic for being ambitious!
The more money I make, the more people I can help!
I have got my own back 100%!
I can handle anything that comes my way!
I am powerful!
My goals are closer than I think!
Everything I need is already within me!
Enjoy!
You Either Win Or Die
If you continue on your path and never give up, you will one day become a master. Or die.
That might sound kind of dire, but I actually find it quite reassuring.
Gymnastics
Knitting
Cooking
Acting
Blogging
Makeup
Jet-skiing
Investing
Coaching
No matter what your craft is, if you never ever give up, there’s only two options.
And failure isn’t one of them.
How To Keep An Abundance Log
Wait, what is an abundance log?
An abundance log is a way to see how much income you actually receive. You might think your salary is X amount, but wait until you add all of the incredible value you don’t even realise you get.
How it works:
It’s about keeping a list of all of the items of value you receive in your life, (kind of like a gratitude journal). When you see how much value you truly receive in the world, and you convert that to actual dollars, you’ll see your ‘income’ is actually a lot higher than you might think!
I’ve been keeping an Abundance Log on and off for years. I’ve decided to get back into it this month, and I managed to find some of my old abundance logs in the notes on my phone as examples.
December 2018 Abundance Log:
Unlimited yoga for three months in exchange for volunteering $510
Stella paid for coffee at our hang out $6
Pirates of the Carabiner Show from Lynne $50
Jasmine’s school play $16 value
Free train from Northampton to Cardiff $200
Fluffy socks for Christmas from Max & Bob $15
Joke Pencils for Christmas from Sashi & Julie $20
Delicious food at Kirsty & Max’s for dinner estimated $20
A meal out with Peter & Chris estimated $40
3 nights staying at Emma & Ian’s house in Cardiff – equivalent of 3 nights in a motel $200
Total value: $1077
January 2019 Abundance Log:
Airpoints paid my flight Auckland-Christchurch $85
Hot chocolate from my Uncle Paul $4
Transformational Conference Gifted by Joanne $500
Pad Thai paid for by Joanne $20
Coffee on the house at Presuming Ed’s Cafe $4
Nutribullet housewarming gift $150
Shoes that don’t fit Latisha + Lipstick shade that doesn’t suit her $120
Saved a whole grand by flying to NZ with a cheaper airline $1000
Coaching client gifted an extra $300
Total value: $2183
April 2020 Abundance Log:
Scholarship to a join mastermind $1056
Free accommodation during quarantine $1000
Borrowed a bike for an hour $30
Coaching swap with Stephanie $3000
Disney Plus Screen from my sister’s account $10
Total value: $5096
Counting only those three months over the last 2 years, I have experienced over $8000 worth of value!
If we take those three months as an average, it works out at an average of $32,000 a year of extra ‘income’.
Think about it right now. Take your salary, and add $30,000 of value. Not bad!
how to Keep your own abundance log:
Whenever you receive something for free, or you get a discount, add it to the log with the price it would have cost you had you paid for it yourself.
Add your free coffees. Add coins you find in your old jeans. Add your tax refund. Add dinners at friend’s houses and sleepovers. Add the Netflix account your friends gave you the password for.
Let it sink in. Realise how freaking rich you actually are. Read the log. Feel the gratitude! You just accrued a ton of extra value in your life. Thank the universe, god, spirit, whoever you believe in – and don’t forget to thank the people who gifted things to you.
Will you try keeping an Abundance Log? Let me know in the comments!
Perseverance
“Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after another.” —Walter Elliott
I’ve learned if there’s one skill that is absolutely universal to achieving any goal I set, it’s perseverance.
If you always persevere, and never give up, eventually, success is inevitable. It has to be.
Seeing this quote today was a huge aha moment for me.
Honestly, my friends can tell you I’m not always motivated. I often have days where I want to pack it all in and just give up. And on those days, all I do is sit on the couch eating hot chips, watching the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills #thetruthcomesout
However, what I AM really good at, is losing motivation AND THEN getting motivated again afterward. That feels like what Walter Elliott is talking about here.
Because here's what I do instead of trying to force myself up off the couch:
I try and spark a tiny, micro moment of motivation. It only needs to be for half a second.
And then as soon as I feel it, I act upon that short burst of motivational energy ASAP.
And I do that again and again.
And then I sprint a short race. And then I collapse on the couch again – maybe in 10 minutes, maybe tomorrow, maybe in a week.
And then I get up again.
Fall down seven, get up eight.
