Updated 4th Sept 2025
I just performed in a Salsa and Reggaeton show this weekend and it was the highlight of my year so far! I’m about to run a really amazing challenge called Achieve Any Goal in 3 Days, which I can’t wait for.
Goals I’m working on right now:
7 figure business
5000 subscribers on YouTube

Hey! I’m Sarah.
I set goals to feel alive.
Sweaty palms.
Racing heart.
Can’t think of anything else.Combining my background in Psychology with my training as a High Performance Coach, I help ambitious entrepreneurs, creatives and athletes achieve their goals.
l created this blog to share behind-the-scenes of my own goals and help you push your limits. I'm creating what I wish existed for me to consume.
People often ask if I’ll climb Mt Everest like my parents did in the 90's (as depicted in the 2015 film, Everest).
While I’ve done a little bit of mountaineering (Kilimanjaro in 2011 and Everest Base Camp in 2007) what most people don’t know is that my late dad was also an entrepreneur. I feel most connected to him through our shared love of entrepreneurship and attempting the impossible in all areas of life.

How to Think Better Thoughts
You get to choose your thoughts. They’re just sentences you make up in your head.

Thinking About Running vs Actually Running
Okay so when I set my August goals, I decided that I would run 2x per week.
And to be honest, I've been dreading it
I've been telling myself I'm "working up to it" these last few months by walking.
But in my heart I know that's just an excuse.
So this week, I did it. Both times. And it wasn't that bad at all.
The actual running part was easy.
It was thinking about running that took all the effort.
Thinking about putting on my shoes and going out in the cold.
Thinking about how to fit it into my schedule.
Thinking about when I could take my post-run shower.
But it's never the actual task. Ever. It's all just mind drama.
New thoughts I'm practicing:
Running is easy.
I am a runner. It's who I am.
I get to choose how I feel about this.
I am unstoppable.
Note to self: No more mind drama about the thing. Just do the thing.
Your unhelpful thoughts are eating your dreams alive
Your unhelpful thoughts are eating your dreams alive.
Because when we think an unhelpful thought, we take unhelpful action.
It's 11:59pm right now. Fact.
I do not feel like writing. Thought.
Only the first one is true.
The second one is just a sentence I made up in my head.
"I don't feel like writing" isn't going to get me to write. So why am I choosing to think it?
I can just make up a new sentence in my head instead.
It's 11:59pm right now. Fact.
"I'm the kind of person who can push through discomfort for her goals." Thought.
A much more helpful thought.
Because now I am writing.
If I allowed myself to accept the first thought, I would have gone to bed already without following through on my commitment to write.
You get to choose your thoughts.
They're just sentences you make up in your head.
So what thoughts do you need to think to get what you want today?
10x The Effort
What if you put in 10x the effort?
Just for this week.
Just to test it.
What if you spoke to 10x the people?
Sent 10x the emails?
Did 10x the reps?
Put in 10x the hours?
What if that’s all that’s standing between you and your result?
Are you willing to put in 10x the effort to create the result you want?
2200 Members
Okay. This is kind of crazy, but we’re at 2200 members in my Impossible Girls Facebook Group. Whaaaat?!
I’m so excited about how quickly this group has grown. I started it on April 1st, 2020.
So in four months, we’re at 2200 members.
Even though I am kind of surprised, this was not an accident.
This was very deliberate.
It was a hustle.
It was a grind.
For the first 12 days, I didn’t have anyone join at all.
Zero people.
I was too afraid to invite people because I thought I wasn’t “ready”.
And in June, when I didn’t invite anyone the whole month because I was focused on other things, we might have got about 10 new members.
This is a massive learning lesson for me:
Facebook groups don’t grow themselves.
Goals don’t hit themselves.
You get to make your goals happen.
Friendship Goals
Behind everything I do, I have the most incredible support team.
My family, my partner, my friends, my coaches.
But there is one person who makes the biggest difference in my life.
My best friend, Georgia.
She was the one who forced me to press publish on my first ever blog post in 2017.
She is the one who risks her safety to get bizarre shots of me for Instagram.
She is the one who helped me write a viral post of 31k likes this week.
And she is the one who I can share anything with, and never feel judged.
You know when people say “I wouldn’t be where I am right now without you”?
That’s an understatement for how I feel about Georgia.
I can’t thank her enough.

My Ideal Schedule
July was super intense with a ton of goals to hit, so in August I’m back into my daily work ethic.
I’ve created myself a plan of what my day looks like as the future ideal version of me, and I’m stepping into that version of me now by living her schedule.
Here’s what that looks like:
CEO time from 10am to 11am (emails, connecting with my audience, writing my blog)
Coaching calls from 11am to 3pm
Growing my audience and connecting with people from 3pm-4pm
Doing a weekly task 4pm-5pm (e.g. filming, editing, PR, emailing my list, or doing a Livestream)
I’m super excited about this new schedule. I set it up from 10am-5pm so I will actually get a chance to have my evenings off. I realised that although I have been hustling a lot, I haven’t been working very efficiently. So following this ideal schedule is my challenge this month!
What is your ideal schedule?
The Power of Helpful Thinking
It’s really started to dawn on me: positive thinking isn’t the answer – helpful thinking is.
Sometimes a “negative” thought is more helpful than a positive thought.
E.g. FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) can be more motivating than the desire to join in.
For the last few days, I’ve been in conscious awareness of my thoughts, regularly asking myself “Is this thought helpful?”
Helpful thoughts might not guarantee I hit my goals. But they do give me a better chance.
Some helpful thoughts I’ve been having:
Michael Jordan would do it.
I’m willing to do whatever it takes.
I’m ready.
I can do this.
I am enough.
I don’t want to look back and think I didn’t make the most of this opportunity.
What would my ideal self do?
Whatever you’re struggling with right now, no matter how good or bad it may seem – you can change your thought to be more helpful.
What thoughts are helpful for you to achieve your goals?
